Jen Graham is a dance artist, movement educator, and entrepreneur committed to challenging convention and breaking boundaries. She creates inclusive spaces dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding through communication and experience. Her work is built on the fundamental belief that movement and action is the key to developing an honest and authentic sense of personal identity and a rich connection the world.
Jen is the Owner/Director of Project C Studios, holds an undergraduate degree in Dance, and is a 2018 candidate for both a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Maryland, as well as a Movement Analyst Certification from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies. Jen has taught, presented work, and performed extensively in the Baltimore/Washington region for over 15 years, and continues to actively create and present concert, commercial, and theatrical work locally and regionally. She has served in notable positions on state and regional dance and education Boards, as well as within the University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance, & Performance Studies.
Jen currently teaches regular classes and lectures at Project C Studios and the University of Maryland. Previously, she served as Co-Director and facilitator of the DeLeComm (Developing Leadership Communication) Program for Graduate and PhD Students in the Neuro and Cognitive Science Department at the University. As committed advocate within the dance and movement education community, Jen continues to share her philosophy and artistic perspective in public & private institutions, schools, and arts organizations as a choreographer, guest artist, lecturer, and presenter.
