Olivia Brann

Olivia Brann is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts and the University of Maryland where she received degrees in both Theater and Chinese. She was a Creative and Performing Arts scholar, a Gail Berman and William Masters scholar, and a Presidential scholar during her time as an undergraduate. She is also currently a recipient of the Jim Henson Scholarship for Puppetry and the founder of her puppetry company, “Für Opa.” She has worked with artists such as Ping Chong, Talvin Wilks, Han Zaifen, and Caroline Clay. Olivia’s research is centered around puppetry’s history and construction, Edward Gordon Craig’s theories, and Jim Henson’s work/legacy as a puppeteer.
