Patrick Crowley is a director, educator and applied theatre facilitator with a dozen years of experience in the field. He has credits with theaters such as Woolly Mammoth, Forum, Imagination Stage, Gala Hispanic Theatre, International Theatre and Literacy Project, and the NY and DC Hip Hop Theatre Festivals. He is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, he won the 2007 DC Mayor's Art Award for Outstanding Emerging Artist, and holds an MA in Applied Theatre from CUNY School of Professional Studies. As an educator he has been an adjunct lecturer in the CUNY system, a guest lecturer at NYU, he has worked in the DC and NYC public schools, has led professional developments in diverse fields such as peacebuilding, organizing, finance and education, and has trained drama educators in Rwanda. He is a doctoral student in Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Maryland.
