Peter is a third year graduate design student, with a specialization in Lighting Design. This season, Peter will be designing Little Shop of Horrors, Street Scene (with the Maryland Opera Studio), and his thesis How to Catch a Star at the Kennedy Center with Jared Mezzochi. Originally from a rural town in Northern California, Peter was the Resident Lighting Designer at Sierra Repertory for three years where he designed over twenty shows including The Music Man, Man of La Mancha, All My Sons, Its a Wonderful Life, Jason and the Argonauts, and The Drowsy Chaperone. In 2017 he was awarded the Hemsley Mentorship and spent a month on observing and discussing design with Japhy Weideman, and his work has been seen at Sierra Repertory Theatre (CA), Joe's Movement Emporium (MD), Andy's Summer Playhouse (NH), The Great American Melodrama (CA), The Kennedy Center (DC), and more. Peter holds a BA in Theatre from the University of California; Irvine.
