After a successful fall semester, Friday Improv Nights are back!

After a successful fall semester, Friday Improv Nights are back! This is a wonderful creative opportunity for both dancers and musicians to freely explore improvisation and experiment together.

This semester's sessions are: February 13, March 13 & April 24 6:00-7:00pm in the Dance wing's Studio 2 (CSPAC 1912)

*Everyone is welcome and no experience with improvisation is necessary.*

Created as part of the University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra's New Lights Initiative, our goal is to open the door for more collaborative partnerships between the UMD School of Music and TDPS' Dance Program.  The New Lights initiative was spearheaded in 2009 to explore ways of making classical music more relevant and impactful for modern audiences.
