Meghan Abadoo, MFA Dance 2016, selected for Graduate Teaching Fellows Program

November 04, 2015 School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies

Congratulations to Meghan Abadoo (MFA Dance 2016) who was selected into UMD’s prestigious Graduate Teaching Fellows Program.  She was the only non-PhD student to be accepted.

The Graduate Teaching Fellows Program (Formerly Graduate Lilly Fellows) is a venue to develop and sustain a cross-disciplinary learning community of graduate students as future faculty. It provides an opportunity for graduate student teachers and teaching assistants to document and share their insights into enhancing teaching and learning at the University of Maryland and to build upon this knowledge.

Meghan explains how this is an interdisciplinary cohort of graduate student teachers (mostly doctoral) who meet and work regularly to explore undergraduate learning and to develop a project that they will present at the Lily Fellows Conference and possibly take out into the world.

Congratulations Meghan.
