The following activities sponsored by the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies will be taking place in various locations in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 30.

An Unlawful Assembly: A Juke Joint of Black Aesthetics

Part open mic, part dance immersion, part juke joint and all theater, this performance explores black art during the 20th century.

Precious Objects Junkyard

Play in imaginative, mystical piles of abandoned thingamajigs and whatchamacallits. Dance, act and sing, inspired by what you find.

Take a class for the whole family that explores global rhythms individually and collectively through dance, singing and percussion.
