Jocelyn Callister has lived and worked in theatre in the DC area since 2007. She is honored to join the prestigious staff of the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies to encourage the next generation of art makers in this incredibly rich performing arts community. As Business Services Specialist, Jocelyn manages the School's studio spaces including rental requests, coordinates guest artist contracts and assists with the school's human resources needs.
Before coming to UMD full time, Jocelyn was an Equity Stage Manager and was privileged to have worked in a wide variety of performances with some of DC's top companies including The Kennedy Center, Imagination Stage, Folger Shakespeare Theatre, The Washington Ballet, Fords Theatre, UrbanArias, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Studio Theatre, and Olney Theatre Center. She has also worked as a volunteer and later Volunteer Coordinator at the Helen Hayes Awards, as Production and Operations Assistant at The National Theatre, and as a Visitor Services Associate at Fords Theatre and still loves talking about Abraham Lincoln.
BA with High honors in Theatre from Butler University
