Casey Kaleba is a doctoral candidate in the Theatre and Performance Studies program. His research emphasizes the intersection of gender, nationalism, violence, and history and embodied theatre on the Victorian stage; other interests include Early Modern drama and the history of staged violence.  A professional fight director, he has worked throughout the region, taught in Sweden and Canada, and served as an audition choreographer for the Marvel Universe Live tour.  He has taught at the Peabody Institute, Catholic University, Regent University, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, Shepherd University, and George Mason University.
