Arts, Humanities & You Prospective Student Event

Join us for the College of Arts and Humanities (ARHU) prospective student event Arts, Humanities & You on Sunday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. During this event you can learn about ARHU majors including theatre and dance, hear from current students and ask questions about UMD.

Following the panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from specific majors of interest. Prospective students will also be able to take a tour of studios and performance spaces in The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. 

The Arts, Humanities & You schedule will be as follows:

• 1:00–1:30 p.m. - College of Arts and Humanities Student Panel and Q&A
• 1:30–2:30 p.m. - Meet with representatives from specific ARHU majors
• 2:00–2:30 p.m. - Tours of The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center
• 3:00 p.m. - Attend a performance. All visitors can receive complimentary tickets to see the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies' production of By the Way, Meet Vera Stark at 3:00 p.m. or the School of Music's UMD Wind Orchestra perform Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis also at 3:00 p.m.
