Congratulations to Professor Jared Mezzocchi on being accepted into the MacDowell Colony this summer, as well as being nominated for a Lucille Lortel award for his projection design on Vietgone!

The MacDowell Colony is a prestigious artist's colony where Mezzocchi will have the opportunity to work on a multimedia script that he has been commissioned to write on The Jüdische Kulturbund project. He will be writing and revising the script, while working with archives and projections in the studio he will be given to work in, so that he can write and design simultaneously. In addition, Mezzocchi was nominated for Outstanding Projection Design for the 2017 Lucille Lortel awards for his incredible projections for Vietgone at the Manhattan Theatre Club last fall. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on May 7.
