Arts Entrepreneurship, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.)
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship will prepare students for the business of art, both in the for-profit and not-for-profit sector. Students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in marketing management, accounting, artistic planning, arts policy, law, data literacy, grant writing and non-profit fundraising.
This P.B.C. is designed to serve primarily students currently enrolled in a Graduate program in the arts, including Art History, Studio Art, Music, Theater and Dance.
Students obtaining this certification will learn:
- the ways in which creative initiatives both create value and offer solutions to social, political, environmental and cultural issues.
- how to use data and information to manage, inform operations, engage customers, patrons, and donors, and influence product/exhibit/program design in arts and entertainment businesses and organizations.
