Gavin Mosier

Gavin Mosier

Graduate Student, School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies

Gavin Mosier is a Washington D.C. / D.C. Metro area scenic designer and art director working in theatre, film, and environmental design. He was born and raised in the small town of Auburn, IN, and received his B.S. degree in Theatrical Design and Technology from Ball State University's Department of Theatre & Dance.  

Currently, Gavin is pursuing his MFA in Scenic Design at the University of Maryland under Daniel Conway and Misha Kachman. Current design credits include As You Like It (Scenic Designer), Later the Same Evening (Scenic Designer), Holiday (Assistant Scenic Designer, Misha Kachman), The Tempest (Assistant Scenic Designer, Daniel Conway), and Popular Theory (Art Director).

When not designing, Gavin enjoys adventures with his wife Kaitlyn (and their cat Bing Clawsby), flipping the vinyl over on the turntable, rummaging through antique shops, attending any and every museum, trying a new coffee (or bourbon), and spending quality time with dear friends and family.
