Scenic Design

Sarah Beth Hall is a scenic designer based in DC since 2018. She designs both in the area and regionally, having worked at theaters such as Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, The Cape Playhouse, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Theater J, Adirondack Theatre Festival, Constellation Theatre Company, Imagination Stage, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Summer Repertory Theatre Festival, 1st Stage, NextStop Theatre Company, Rorschach Theatre, Adventure Theatre, and The Carnegie.

Prior to her time in DC, Sarah Beth was based in Cincinnati where she served as the Design and Production Associate for the Know Theatre. During her four years at the Know, she designed four world premieres, numerous regional premieres, and assisted in the production of the annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival, for which she was the festival’s lead graphic designer. 

In addition to serving as a resident at the Know, she has also served as a resident scenic designer for both Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and Adirondack Theatre Festival.

In the academic world, Sarah Beth has also taught at the University of Cincinnati and at American University, where she served as Theater Designer-in-Residence for the ’23-’24 academic year.
