Experimental Performance Series #5

College of Arts and Humanities | The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center | School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies Saturday, May 10, 2025 - May 10, 2025 Dance Theatre

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Experimental Performance Series is a collection of self-produced works from undergraduate and graduate students in theatre and dance, ranging from production of established works to brand new plays and choreography.

This performance will feature one original dance piece and one original theatre piece.

Directed and choreographed by Kaela Lawrence, a third-year MFA candidate in dance, "S." brings to life the story of Samson, a deeply complex and lost individual with divine strength coiled within his hair.

Directed, written, and performed by Tim Kelly, a third-year MFA candidate in media design, "Blue" follows Tim as he attempts to create the perfect play about the history and impact of the color blue without unraveling entirely in the process.

ABOUT TDPS
