Virtual Information Sessions/Group Chats: Be sure to RSVP to receive the Zoom link for each session:
Keegan Theatre: February 1, 2 pm. RSVP here. Learn more about opportunities with Keegan Theatre including Production, Education, and Administration internships. More details can be found here.
Strathmore: February 2, 2 pm. RSVP here. Strathmore is bigger than a performance and broader than a campus. We are both an experience and a community—a venue for discovery and a canvas for expression. Spotlighting world-class talent and serving as a launch pad for local artists, Strathmore presents nearly 400 accessible and affordable events each year. The Director of Patron Experience and Front of House Manager will discuss the positions currently open on our House staff team, what a typical shift looks like and how you can apply to be part of our team.
John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Theater for Young Audiences): February 2, 3 pm. RSVP here. Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences develops, presents, produces, and tours new work for young people. We hire for a number of early career positions on our productions, including interns, design assistants, production assistants, assistant directors, and other assistants to creative team members. We also do a virtual Open Call audition series, where we have the opportunity to meet and hear from actors who are new to us. Dates for the 2022 Open Calls will be announced soon.
Arena Stage: February 3, 11 am. RSVP here. The Allen Lee Hughes BIPOC Fellowship Program is restarting after the pandemic for the 2022/23 season and reclaiming its roots as a professional training program for individuals who self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). Available fellowships in: Artistic, Development, General and Company Management, Graphic Design, Leadership and Business, Marketing, Media Relations, Patron Services, Community Programs, School Programs, Costumes and Lighting.
ClancyWorks Dance Company: February 3, 2 pm. RSVP here. ClancyWorks Dance Company is in the process of making our educational video catalog available to the public. To that end, we are looking for work study dance artists interested in learning to preserve the intellectual property and video archive of an arts organization. The work will involve looking through video catalogs, some documentation, and the assembling of a catalog database. Although it would be helpful if the individual(s) applying had experience in dance, video editing, and word processing, we will help by training applicants as part of this learning experience.
Six Flags America, February 4, 12 noon. RSVP here. We are currently recruiting at Six Flags America for the 2022 season. The types of positions we are seeking to fill are seasonal front line positions (Admissions, Rides, Security, Loss Prevention, Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Retail, Rentals, Games, Warehouse, Human Resources, etc.) and we are mostly hoping to meet students that are ambitious, ready to learn, grow, and build their careers.

We offer a creative outlet for students, faculty/staff, and community members via non-credit courses in the arts. Through our weekly classes and frequent workshops, we provide the opportunity to learn new skills, explore a topic, or pursue a creative passion. This Summer Studio A will be offering summer art camps for children ages 6-12 during the month of July and is looking for counselors who can work from 8:30-5pm, Monday through Friday for the month. Studio A also hires instructors in a variety of creative fields and desk staff members interested in learning about and working in arts administration for the academic year.

EducArte: February 8 at 2 pm. RSVP here. Interns will learn the “business side” of the arts sector. Successful arts organizations, productions, and engagements require a good deal of planning, execution, and community building. Through EducArte’s internship programs, interns will gain an understanding of how to market arts education, engage with artists and the public, and navigate the non-profit arts sector. We are seeking to fill marketing and graphic/media design internships to support our young arts education non-profit organization. We would like to meet students who are organized and proactive.
Arts on the Horizon: February 8 at 3 pm. RSVP here.
