Efflorescence by Greta Cover
In Efflorescence, Cover stages mirrors to explore how we navigate the discovery of multiple versions of our personalities throughout our lives and who we choose to identify with to construct our truest self. This work prompts audiences to ask how one’s identity impacts others and how all of our lives are interconnected.
natürliches sparkle, natürlich arranged by Carlo Antonio Villanueva
natürliches sparkle, natürlich is a reconfiguration of a 2017 dance work called Untitled (Duet on Four Frames), originally created and performed by Oluwadamilare Ayorinde, Miriam Gabriel, Jennifer Payán, and Carlo Antonio Villanueva. This new performance overlaps choreographed material and improvisational strategies in the interest of blurring delineations between the two. In this landscape of bleeding edges, the performers will work to maintain DANCING that values listening, clear intention, and the live pursuit of possibility.
200 phrasal verbs choreographed and performed by Christina Robson
A solo work in progress.
Music by Edward Elgar, Renaud Capuçon, Stephen Hough
Violin Sonata in E Minor, Op.82:II. Romance. Andante. 2021
TDPS’ Experimental Performance Series provides a research laboratory for undergraduate and graduate students to develop new work for the stage, including plays, devised theater pieces and choreographic explorations that demonstrate student creativity and curiosity.
Note: Tickets will be available one week before the first show.
