Brian MacDevitt to stage Studio’s forthcoming Between Riverside and Crazy

To tackle the direction of a Pulitzer Prize-winning play, David Muse, the artistic head of Studio Theatre, had an illuminating thought: Why not ask a five-time Tony Award-winning lighting designer?
So in recruiting Brian MacDevitt to stage Studio’s forthcoming Between Riverside and Crazy, a seriocomedy that won playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for drama, Muse is reaching out, intriguingly, beyond the usual suspects.
