Performance Faculty Ashley Smith was cast in a new television series for AMC and a PBS documentary.

In the past month, Performance Faculty Ashley Smith was cast in a new television series for AMC and a PBS documentary. He will play Lieutenant Wakefield in TURN, AMC's series based on Alexander Rose's book Washington's Spies. The series stars Jamie Bell and Angus Macfadyen. Smith will also play the voices of several art critics for the upcoming PBS documentary THE ART AND LIFE OF JAMES MCNEILL WHISTLER, starring Kevin Kline and Angelica Huston. Both shows will premiere in the spring of 2014.
