Acclaimed puppeteer and theatre maker Robin Frohardt joing TDPS as an artist in residence.

This fall, TDPS welcomes acclaimed puppeteer and theatre maker Robin Frohardt as an artist in residence, through the generous funding of Heather Henson and the Jane Henson Foundation. Frohardt works with both graduate and undergraduate students to instill her unique perspective on the tactile and cinematic experience of working with puppets, and how they transform into ultimate artistic expression. Classes create work that pushes the boundaries of the traditional and propels puppetry beyond the realm of family programming and into the adult theater world, where it can impact audiences who are hungry for unique and innovative puppet theater.
