Two PhD candidates accepted into Writing Fellows Program

Matthew Shifflett and Aaron Tobiason, PhD candidates in Theatre and Performance Studies, have been accepted to UMD's new, prestigious Writing Fellows program.
Writing Fellows are an exceptional group of graduate students from across campus who have demonstrated mastery of writing in their disciplines and have demonstrated an aptitude for peer review. These students offer consultation services for other graduate students to help them improve their writing, and they also provide other services by leading and assisting workshops and other activities. Spring 2013 is the first semester this program has been offered.
